Registration Check-In

All registrants should check in on the 5th floor
of the Health Education Building at KU Med.

Transportation

Complimentary shuttles will provide transportation from the Intercontinental Hotel to KU Medical Center and back to the hotel during the following timeframes.  Shuttle stops will be located at the main entrance of the Intercontinental Hotel and at 39th & Rainbow outside the Health Education Building.  Shuttles will also run from the Intercontinental Hotel to the Nelson-Atkins Museum and back to the hotel on Thursday night. 

Shuttles run on 10-minute intervals.

CME Credit

If you wish to receive CME credit, you'll need to sign in during each session.  Participation is verified electronically.  To record your attendance, text the numeric code 3944 to 913-703-5333.  If you experience technical difficulty with the texting system, a sign-in sheet is available.  The KU Med Office of Continuing Medical Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The KU Med Office of Continuing Medical Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 18.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in activity.   

Nurses and Nurse Practioners are eligible to receive a certificate of attendance.  If you plan to file the paperwork to request nursing CEU credit, our staff will be happy to help with the documentation.

Cadaver Lab

The Cadaver Lab is scheduled for Friday, November 3, from 3:30-6:00pm.  The lab is located in Room 2013 of the Orr-Major building of the School of Medicine at KU Med.  Orr-Major and the Health Education Building are connected by a pedestrian bridge that crosses 39th street.

To access the lab, take the Health Education Building elevators to the first floor.  Exit the elevator and turn left.  Cross the pedestrian bridge over 39th Street, and go up the steps at the south end.  Turn left, then take the immediate first right, and the immediate first right again to Room 2013.    

WiFi

Guests may use the "kumc-guest" network for complimentary WiFi at KU Med.

Refunds for registration may be considered if requested by Thursday, October 26.  Cancellation of hotel reservations are subject to hotel policies.
