W. S. & E. C. Jones Chair in Cranio-Facial Reconstruction

The Jones Chair was established from a trust created from the estates of the late Walter and Evan (Evie) Jones, the sons of Welsh parents, who were reared on a farm north of Lebo, Kansas, in Coffey County. At the turn of the twentieth century the brothers inherited 200 acres of land and started their partnership. Their trust created the chair to support an outstanding Kansas surgeon in the areas of cranio-facial trauma, microsurgery and cancer-related deformities. The first recipient of this Chair in the Department of Otolaryngology is Dr. J. David Kriet.
