Megan Bechtold received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2008 from the KU School of Health Professions and is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS). Her interests are orthopedic physical therapy, and she also specializes in sports medicine, manual therapy, and running analysis. Megan is currently working toward her manual therapy certification (COMT).
Megan volunteers her time and talents at the JayDoc Free Health Clinic, which provides health services to the underprivileged in the local community. She is a clinical instructor and guest lecturer at the KU School of Health Professions where she teaches Doctorate of Physical Therapy students.
Megan is excited to implement the movement analysis software called DartfishTM for the new KU "Runners Clinic." The Runners' Clinic will benefit injured runners of all ages and experience levels.
Megan, her husband Jeremy and their two sons enjoy boating, waterskiing, and wakeboarding. Megan's personal hobbies include snowboarding, volleyball, and following KU Basketball.
