Education and Training Overview

Faculty and Resident

Welcome to KU Eye - the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Kansas Medical Center!

We offer a three-year ACGME-accredited program that has proudly graduated 158 outstanding ophthalmologists since the program began in 1946.  Our most recent graduates are pictured below (left to right: Drs. Robert Null, Anjulie Quick and Derek Horkey). KU Eye Residents experience a well-rounded, intellectually stimulating education in comprehensive ophthalmology, plus the opportunity to gain experience in all sub-specialty areas.
