Computing Services

Garden City
There are two student computing lab locations in Garden City. In addition to the following locations:

• St. Catherine Hospital's medical library is open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Internet access and
  printing are available at no cost.
• The Finney County Public Library is also within walking distance to the dorm and hospital.
• The public library is open Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday & Saturday, 9 a.m.- 6 p.m., and Sundays 1-6 p.m. Internet access is available at no cost, printing runs 10 cents a page.

Liberal

Most doctors' offices have internet access available, but if your preceptor does not, other options are available. The doctors' lounge at Southwest Medical Center does have a computer with internet access available, and the public library has resources as well. Memorial Library is open Monday-Thursday 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Fridays & Saturdays 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sundays 1-5 p.m. Computers with internet access are available for public use at no charge; printing runs 25 cents per sheet.

Tribune

Greeley County Health Services in Tribune provides housing, linens included, to students and their families in a small house across the street from the hospital. Internet access is available both in the house and in the hospital and clinic. Besides the clinic in Tribune, one day a week will be spent in each of the outreach clinics in Hamilton County (Syracuse) and Wallace County (Sharon Springs). Internet access is available at each of those clinics. Surgical and obstetrical experience will be available in Tribune.
