At the KU Center for Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery, our physicians take pride in offering patients up-to-date and advanced treatment options for gynecological problems. Our physicians realize the importance of a quicker recovery time and return to daily activities.
Our physicians also use the da Vinci Surgical System. The University of Kansas Medical Center is one of the first institutions in the state of Kansas to have surgeons trained to perform gynecological procedures using this state-of-the-art robotic system.
At the KU Center for Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery, our patients are offered minimally invasive procedures whenever possible but they may not be suitable to all patients. Our surgeons will take the time to discuss options with patients on an individual basis.
