Residency: University of Kansas School of Medicine - Wichita, KS
After graduating from The University of Kansas School of Medicine, she completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at The University of Kansas in Wichita, Kansas.
During her residency, Dr. Kempke trained for both laparoscopic and robotic procedures. She received a resident award in achievement of outstanding laparoscopic surgery skills. She was a junior American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) member and presented at the 2012 National ACOG conference on her research with the high-risk obstetrics team on twin pregnancies.
Dr. Kempke has a special interest in obstetrics. She enjoys the unique relationship that develops during the care of a pregnancy and postpartum. She has the ability to build long term care. She understands that each patient is an individual, a member of a family and a member of a larger community. Therefore, each patient requires a varied amount of physical, emotional, psychological, social and spiritual support. She also desires to give the patient the opportunity to make choices about the many aspects of their care.
