Dr. Sacha Krieg is an assistant professor within the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology specializing in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.  She is the director of the recurrent pregnancy loss program at KUMC, the TLC program.  This program is one of the few in the country to provide specialized care to patients suffering from recurrent miscarriages.

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Oregon State University, Dr. Krieg completed both her medical degree and Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During medical school she received a national PEO scholar award and the Lewis Trupin M.D. Women's health award for the "Commitment to the well being and health of women."  Upon completion of her studies at the University of Illinois she pursued a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Stanford University.    During this time she was awarded the Berlex award for excellence in teaching (2003) and the Stanford Ob/Gyn award for excellence in patient care. After completing her residency, Dr. Krieg continued her training at Stanford as a fellow in the division Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, one of the largest IVF centers in the country. During her fellowship, she was also an active participant in the Recurrent Pregnancy Loss program at Stanford. As a Stanford REI fellow, she was awarded the ACOG-Ortho/McNeil women's health fellowship for research in women's health (2009) and the Stanford Women's health research fellowship for her research on uterine factors in recurrent miscarriage. 

Dr. Krieg is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist and a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and American Society for Reproductive Medicine. She is proud to offer a spectrum of options for couples facing infertility, from minimally invasive surgical treatments to in vitro fertilization. She also provides care for recurrent pregnancy loss patients within the TLC program, using a multidisciplinary, evidence-based approach in a compassionate environment.
