Dr. Johnson received her doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology at Oklahoma State University and has internship and postdoctoral experience in Health Psychology at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Johnson is also a Certified Sex Therapist and Sex Educator (American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists). She has over 15 years of experience as a clinical psychologist and has published several peer-reviewed journals related to her research interest in quality of life and survivorship for cancer survivors. As a sex therapist, Dr. Johnson specializes in therapy that focuses on addressing the sexual concerns, function and expression of men and women and to guide them in becoming more comfortable with communicating and understanding their intimacy concerns.
