Kevin A. Ault, M.D., FACOG is a native of Indiana, and a graduate of Butler University and the Indiana University School of Medicine, both in Indianapolis. He completed his residency at Ohio State University in Columbus and was a fellow and later an assistant professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Dr. Ault's main research focus has been the development of a vaccine against human papillomavirus (HPV). Other research areas include maternal immunization, evaluation of abnormal cytology, HPV detection and the genomics of vaginitis. His research has been published in numerous medical journals and he has acted as an advisor to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Medical Association, the National Vaccine Program Office and the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

He is one of the few physicians in the United States that is both a fellow of the Infectious Disease Society of American (FIDSA) and a fellow of ACOG. He is a board examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and was elected to fellowship in the American Gynecological and Obstetrical Society. Other honors include giving the Presidential Lecture at the 13th European Cancer Conference, the Ella Grasso Memorial Lecture at Yale University, the John Brewer Memorial Lecture at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Annual Clinical Meeting, just to name a few.

Kevin is married to Teri Copeland; she is a native of Salina, KS. Ms. Ault is a graduate of the University of Kansas. They have two daughters.
