"The KU OB/GYN residency program provided comprehensive training in all areas of the specialty.  There was a wide variety of high risk pregnancies as well as a balanced volume of low risk deliveries.  In the gynecologic specialty, there was a strong emphasis in minimally invasive procedures.  However, there was no shortage of the more complex medical and surgical cases due to the large gynecologic oncology census.  Ambulatory training has also increased through the last four years.  Overall, the training provided has allowed me to approach both the board examination and my future practice with a good sense of preparedness in all areas."

"My training at the University of Kansas prepared me well for the very busy high-risk environment I practice obstetrics today.  In addition, my minimally invasive surgery training has been a great asset to my patients and to resident training in my new department.  My mentors at KU set an excellent example that I carry with me in my academic endeavors."
