These options, which include hysteroscopy, laparoscopy and robotic-assisted surgery, allow for a shorter hospital stay and faster recovery time.

Kimberly Swan, MD is excited to return to the Kansas City area and begin practicing at The University of Kansas Hospital, the same hospital where she herself was born. After graduating from the University of Kansas - School of Medicine she completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Exempla Saint Joseph's Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She has lectured, taught and performed live surgery both nationally and internationally. She has a number of publications in the scientific literature and is also a member of many medical associations including ACOG and AAGL.

Despite these achievements Dr. Swan's greatest joy is taking care of patients. All of her patients have unique needs and concerns, which Dr. Swan strives to understand and address. She believes that patients deserve to be informed of all treatment options (surgical and non-surgical) and allowed to make informed decisions about their care.

Dr. Swan specializes in treating a wide range of complex gynecologic problems. She is proud to offer minimally invasive techniques to her patients, which helps shorten patient recovery time.
