KU Hosts Midwest Neurosurgical Society Meeting

The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Kansas Hospital hosted this year's Midwest Neurosurgical Society Meeting on August 15th, 2015.

Participants came from various states including Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa.  

Two Keynote Speeches were given:  

Dr. David Kline, MD, Boyd Professor of Neurosurgery and Department Chairman Emeritus of LSU New Orleans, presented on the Historical Perspectives on Nerve Surgery.  

Dr. Mitesh Shah, MD, Associate professor of Neurological Surgery at Indiana University, showcased Preliminary Experience with Evacuation of Intracerebral Hemorrhage via a Minimally Invasive Parafascicular technique.

The meeting was preceded with a dinner on Friday night in the Country Club Plaza. The meeting commenced with a trip to Kauffman Stadium to watch the Royals!
