Neuro-Critical Care

Stretching across the entire top floor of the new Heart Hospital addition on the 9th floor, the 20 bed Neuro and ENT ICU is the only neuro-critical care staffed unit in the area. All rooms have private restrooms with showers and accomodations for families.  Continuous EEG monitoring is available in all rooms.

The floor was designed to provide the optimum environment for patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, seizure disorders, brain tumors, cerebrovascular disease, complex spine disease, as well as any and all critical care conditions.

The unit houses a full time neurocritical care team including neurosurgeons, neurologists, and specially trained neuro intensivists. A massive inventory of the most advanced instuments and monitors are routinely used by our world class staff.
