Yunxia Wang, M.D.

Associate Professor

Dr. Wang completed medical school at the Taishan Medical College, Shandong, China and came to the United States as a postdoctoral fellow. She completed an Internship in internal medicine at Southern Illinois University, Springfield, Ill., followed by a residency in neurology and a fellowship in neurophysiology at the University of Kansas Hospital, Kansas City, KS. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology

Dr. Yunxia Wang practices general neurology with special emphasis on rare neurological conditions such as episodic ataxia and myotonic disorders. Her research interest is in improving the quality of life for patients with chronic neurological disease.
