Nancy Hammond, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology. She completed a residency in Neurology and a fellowship in Neurophysiology, both at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago before joining the faculty at KU Medical Center in 2006.
She is board certified in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology, and her career interests include epilepsy, women's issues in epilepsy and medical education. As the Medical Director of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, she is part of a multidisciplinary team of epileptologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, and neuropsychologists that provides state-of-the-art comprehensive care to epilepsy patients at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Dr. Hammond also contributes to the department's neurology residency program, serving as its Associate Residency Program Director.
