Gary S. Gronseth, M.D.

Dr. Gronseth completed his undergraduate work at Marquette University in Milwaukee prior to completing medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He did a medical internship at St. Joseph's Hospital in Milwaukee followed by a neurology residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center and the affiliated University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, Texas.

During this time, Dr. Gronseth also served as a flight surgeon and Chief of Aerospace Medicine at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana. He was the Officer in Charge of the Neurology Clinic at Wilford Hall Medical Center prior to becoming the Chairman and Program Director in 1996. He joined the faculty of the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2002. He is Board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has served as a member of the Quality Standards Subcommittee of the American Academy of Neurology, and now serves as co-chair of that committee.

Dr. Gronseth's academic interests include the use and application of evidence based medicine, and his clinical interests are in general neurology.
