Dr. Wallace received his PhD from the Department of Molecular and Integrative Physiology at KUMC in 1998 and joined the faculty of the Department of Internal Medicine in 2002. He is currently an Associate Professor with his primary appointment in the Department of Internal Medicine and a secondary appointment in the Department of Molecular and Integrative Physiology. Dr. Wallace’s research is funded by an R01 grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIDDK) as well as private foundations and biotechnology companies. Dr. Wallace is the Director of the PKD Biomaterials and Cellular Models Core located within the KU Kidney Institute and he serves as a scientific advisor for the PKD Foundation.
