Costs of Graduate Studies
Graduate student stipends are awarded to qualified applicants. Currently, recipients receive $24,000 per year and tuition is either waived or paid by the student's mentor. The recipient is responsible for incidental fees of approximately $250 per semester.
Fees are set by the Kansas Board of Regents and are subject to change annually. Students are provided financial assistance to attend national science meetings. Students are required to have health insurance coverage, and university sponsored plans are available.
