Regulation of hypoxia protein-1 (HIF-1) in cortical neurons during ischemia: My current project was focused on the expression of HIF-1 α in cortical neurons in in-vitro and in-vivo. Protein kinase A regulated hypoxia inducible protein-1 α in cortical astrocytes during ischemia: Apart from my current project, we have focused to identify the molecular mechanism of HIF-1 α expression in cortical astrocytes by using CoCl₂ (HIF-1 α stabilizer) or near anoxia.
