Research Focus

Patch-clamp electrophysiology, calcium digital imaging and immunocytochemistry using cell cultures and brain slices. Recording of calcium and potassium ionic currents in neurons.

Research Interests:

Mechanisms of regulation and role of neuronal gap junctions (electrical synapses) during development and neuronal injury.
