Faculty Position in Bacteriology

The Department of Microbiology, Molecular Genetics and Immunology at the University of Kansas Medical Center invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in Bacteriology. We seek exceptional candidates (Ph.D., MD or similar degrees) with a strong record of peer-reviewed publications in the areas of bacterial genetics and/or pathogenesis.  Successful candidates will be expected to establish or have established an externally funded, independent research program and actively to participate in graduate and medical education.
