In this weekly clinical-pathological case conference, interesting and instructive cases from the clinical services are presented by the fellow with the guidance of the rounding attending. The audience is invited to suggest a differential diagnosis and approach to the work-up and initial treatment, after which any definitive diagnostic results, including kidney biopsy findings are revealed. The presenting fellow then leads a discussion of pathophysiology and treatment options and reviews the pertinent literature. In addition, each fellow is expected to present one conference yearly under the guidance of a faculty-mentor.
Conferences are held in 6016 Wahl Hall East, Wednesday, noon-1 p.m.
