Fellowship Application Process

KUMC offers a one year clinical Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program. We currently offer 3 Adult Focused fellowship positions per year.  In addition, our program received ACGME approval for a 4th position-a Pediatric Focused fellowship track.  This track is in development.  All fellowship applicants must have completed an ACGME or American Osteopathic Association (AOA)-accredited residency program in anesthesiology, emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, psychiatry, radiation oncology, or surgery.  The University of Kansas School of Medicine Palliative Medicine fellowship program is not currently accepting candidates with H1B visa status.

2016-17 Candidates

For Fellows applying for July 2016 start, our program will go through NRMP match using ERAS website. Timelines and details are available on the AAHPM website.
