Research Focus

Blood-based and cytology-based biomarkers for early detection of Barrett's esophagus and esophageal adenocarcinoma; MicroRNA based on nanotherapeutics for novel treatments of esophageal adenocarcinoma; Advanced imaging and cancer prevention in Lynch syndrome

 Clinical Interests:

  • Esophageal function testing: wireless pH monitoring, high-resolution manometry, functional lumen imaging probe
  • Advanced imaging for cancer detection in inherited cancer syndromes
  • Endoscopic mucosal resection for precancerous lesions
  • Whole gut motility testing with wireless Smartpill capsule
