As an integral part of the University of Kansas School of Medicine, we strive to educate our students, interns and residents in a supportive and collaborative environment, motivating them to set high standards for themselves and their peers.

Our faculty teach classes during the basic science and clinical years of medical school. They have received numerous teaching awards and are highly involved in the education, training and mentoring of interns and residents throughout our institution. We also have a two-year clinical fellowship.

In addition to our formal educational activities, we regularly provide topical updates to our peers at hospital grand rounds, conferences, local and regional professional meetings and civic organizations. We take pride in helping prepare the next generation of doctors for the challenges that lie ahead, and in working collaboratively with physicians and other professionals from numerous disciplines to improve the knowledge and health care available to our patients.
