Critical Care Medicine, Hepatology, Liver Transplantation
My clinical and research interests are centered on caring for the patient with advanced liver disease in the critical care setting. This includes both acute and chronic liver failure and post-transplant critical care management. It is my career goal to advance the management of critically ill liver disease patients by developing interdisciplinary care through education and teamwork.
I serve as the site primary investigator for the NIH sponsored US Acute Failure Study Group. In addition to my interests in acute liver failure, I have a dedicated interest in acute-on-chronic liver failure.
