Leigh Wagner is a nutritionist at KU Integrative Medicine. She specializes in comprehensive nutrition assessment and personalized nutrition programs for her clients. She works with people with a variety of goals and diseases:

  • Food Sensitivities
  • Diabetes and Pre-diabetes
  • Thyroid Disease
  • IBS
  • Weight Loss and Management
  • Nutrient Deficiencies
  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease
  • Cancer Survivorship

A product of a family with a love for cooking, Leigh also enjoys teaching cooking classes to multiple audiences:

  • All people (patients, staff, students and the public) at The "Healing Foods Kitchen" (at KU Integrative Medicine on the main KUMC Campus)
  • Cancer Survivors and ther Caregivers at The KU Clinical Research Center (down the road in Fairway, KS)
  • Cardiac Rehab Patients at The Mid-America Cardiology at the University of Kansas Hospital (on the main KUMC Campus)

In addition to counseling and cooking classes, Leigh is working toward earning a PhD in Medical Nutrition Science from the KUMC Department of Dietetics and Nutrition. When not being a nutritionist, Leigh loves walking her dog, Jake Reno (yes, he has a first and last name), practicing Yoga (find Yoga with Adriene" on YouTube, you won't be sorry), listening to leadership and self-improvement podcasts, reading Seth Godin's blog, and watching The Voice (she would choose Pharell as her coach).
