Anna Esparham, MD is a board-certified pediatrician, integrative medicine physician and acupuncturist at KU Integrative Medicine. Her littlest patients call her Dr. Anna Banana. With compassionate understanding, she empowers the patient through tapping into their innate ability to heal and designs a personalized treatment plan. She utilizes a family-focused and holistic health care approach to help her patients achieve their health and wellness goals through her specialties in:

  • Acupuncture and Acupressure
  • Nutritional/Dietary therapies
  • Mind-Body therapies

She is recognized nationally as a pediatric integrative medicine leader and is involved in many projects. A few of them include advancing integrative medicine education as a National Faculty Leader on the Arizona Pediatric Integrative Medicine Residency Curriculum. She also serves to help children of Kansas as a member of the Young Physicians Committee for the Kansas Chapter American Academy of Pediatrics. She has been published and presents to several community and medical organizations.

On a personal note, she loves being outdoors and taking care of her animals. She tandem bikes, rollerblades, and plays with her large half polar-bear half wolf looking dog, named "Appa" and a small Shelty, named "Holly Dolly Madison".
