Beginning Fall 2011 the MHSA program instituted a new position linking a prominent healthcare leader with its students and faculty. This "Executive in Residence" advises the faculty regarding trends in the field, meets with faculty and students, participates in classroom discussions, and serves as a member of the HP&M Advisory Board.
We are honored to have Don Black, a 35 year veteran in the healthcare industry, and founder and CEO of the Child Health Corporation of American, fill this role. Don brings an unusual combination of skills and experiences to our program and students, combining his talents and expertise as an entrepreneur, CEO, investment banker, hospital administrator and health service researcher. He received his Masters in Hospital and Health Administration from the University of Minnesota.
