Research, Teaching and Service

I have served as a member (2013-present) of the University of Kansas Health Systems Ethics Committee and participated in ongoing ethics consults since 2015.

I served as the Secretary (2018-2019) and President (2019-2021) of the Society for Social Work Leaders in Healthcare Missouri/Kansas Chapter (http://sswlhc.org).

I enjoy reading and learning more about social justice issues that our patients and community faces on a daily basis.

I am also a volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters as a mentor.
