Nursing students talk with patients in IPTC clinic at KU Medical Center's Family Medicine clinic

IPT Clinic

The Interprofessional Teaching Clinic (IPTC) is an effort initiated by the Department of Family Medicine to bring medical, nursing, and pharmacy students together at the point of care. Students work in patient-centered teams under the supervision of medicine, nursing, and pharmacy faculty. When patients present with legal needs, the IPTC student team also collaborates with law students via our Medical-Legal Partnership.
