Pump and Sensor Preview

What is this all about?

pump and sensor demonstration

If you've heard about insulin pumps or continuous glucose monitors and would like to know what they're all about, this class is for you. In the Pump and Sensor Preview class you will learn what to expect from these devices, how they work, and which one would be best for you. If you already have a pump or CGM, this class offers you the opportunity to see what is new on the market for when your warranty is up. During the last hour and a half of class, company representatives from each brand will demonstrate actual pumps and sensors.

Recommended for patients who:

  • Are preparing for insulin pump therapy
  • Are considering insulin pump therapy
  • Have an insulin pump whose warranty is up; want to know the latest in pump and CGMS therapy

Class offerings: Third Tuesday of the month from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Check out our calendar to find specific days and times of classes and e-mail or call us at 913-588-6022, option 3 to sign up.
