In a society where food is plentiful and exercise is optional, our choices have led to skyrocketing obesity rates and health-care costs. The Center for Health Behavior Neuroscience was formed to support and unify research at the University of Kansas Medical Center and throughout the Greater Kansas City Area that is focused on the brain's role in obesity, addiction, and other health behaviors.
