Seizure Clinic
Seizures can result from the generation of electrical signals inside the brain.
Seizure symptoms vary. Some people with epilepsy simply stare blankly for a few seconds during a seizure, while others have full-fledged convulsions. About one in 100 people in the United States will experience an unprovoked seizure in their lifetime.
Proper management of seizure disorders can dramatically improve the quality of life of those with epilepsy.
Members of the seizure clinical team are:
- Daniel Katz, M.D.,
pediatric neurologist - Enrique Chaves, M.D., pediatric neurologist
