Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs
Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) is a state program that supports and provides health care services and case management for children who are at risk for or who have a developmental disability or chronic health condition. Children may receive care at the Center for Child Health and Development (Kansas City location) through the following clinics:
- Cerebral Palsy
- Spina Bifida
- Cleft Lip/Cleft Palate
- Cardiology
- Seating (wheelchair)
- Cystic Fibrosis
- Muscular Dystrophy
- Seizure Disorders
- Urology
- Other genetic and/or metabolic conditions may be covered as well
