Using ABA Therapy to help children with recent autism diagnosis

The Bridge Clinic is a first step in treatment following the diagnosis of your child. The clinic will provide short-term behavioral intervention services for your child with an
autism spectrum disorder until your family has the opportunity to connect with a service provider in your area. This clinic is for children up to 6 years of age.

A child's enrollment at the clinic may last anywhere from two to six months followed by a transition to a provider who has been chosen by the family.

Intervention services may include:

• Skills assessment
• Individualized programming based on results from the skills assessment
• Programming implemented by providers skilled in autism interventions
• Assessment and treatment of problem behaviors
• Treatment plans regarding activities of daily living i.e., dressing, toileting
