GNO Overview

"Girls Night Out" (GNO) is a social skills and self-care program for adolescent girls with autism and other developmental disabilities.

GNO utilizes empirical strategies to promote social and self care skills, includes trained typically developing peers, partners with experts in our community, and utilizes innovative technology. GNO curriculum is specifically designed for girls and young women and occurs in age appropriate social and self-care settings and activities.


Dr. Rene JamisonDr. Rene Jamison established GNO with its first group in 2008. Although GNO programs focus on girls with autism and other developmental disabilities, GNO reaches beyond this initial scope, impacting girls and women across the community.
