The Center for Child Health and Development (CCHD) supports families and providers at the local, state and national levels by:
Providing interdisciplinary diagnostic services for children with development concerns
Integrating developmental health needs with mental health issues
Providing behavioral support services for the child and their family
Providing outreach to rural areas through telehealth sites and on-site clinic across the state of Kansas
Training graduate, pre-doctoral and post-doctoral students
Researching the causes and treatment in developmental disorders including autism and Fragile X
Working with community partners to increase capacity in the diagnosis and treatment of autism
