Dr. Mark Fisher Memorial Research Symposium

A memorial research symposium to honor Dr. Mark Fisher for his many contributions to the fields of protein folding and structure determination.

There is no registration fee to attend but please register so that we may know how many to expect. 
The deadline to register is October 1st.

Donations will be accepted in Dr. Fisher's name to go toward a memorial bench in the courtyard between Hemenway and the Health Education Building.  In addition, a block of rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn Express on Rainbow. Please see below for details on donating or reserving a room.

Checks should be made out to the Department of Biochemistry with the notation "Fisher Memorial" in the memo line.  Remaining funds will be used for graduate sudent travel awards.

For out-of-town attendees: a block of rooms is reserved at the Holiday Inn Express, 3932 Rainbow Blvd, Kansas City, KS  (across the street from KUMC).

Call 913.236.8700 to reserve a room. Give the code MFM or Dr. Fisher Memorial Research Symposium to reserve at the rate of $129 a night.  The block will be held until October 18th .
