Library Services

DykesOn campus at Kansas University Medical Center residents are encouraged to utilize our outstanding Archie R. Dykes Library, one of the most complete medical libraries in the Midwest. Constantly expanding its subscriptions to medical journals and adding to the thousands of medical texts, the library is dedicated to remaining at the forefront in library technology and service.

KUMC also houses the Clendening History of Medicine Library on campus, a fascinating and educational selection of historical medical items and texts.

The Department of Anesthesiology also offers a specialty library of its own, especially designed for residents' use. This library contains all major anesthesiology journals and texts, as well as numerous others most frequently used in the field for reference and research. The residents' library is used as a study and research area, and is equipped with computers and workspace for residents.
