Each year the eight Academic Societies compete for posession of the Societies Cup, a trophy which awards participation and leadership in Society events. Student and faculty attendance at Society events is tracked and points are given for each individual's attendance (2 points for each faculty member, 1 point for each student). Points are tallied, and at the end of the academic year, the Society with the highest point total is awarded the cup.
