Lori Roop joined the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2009 as the Assistant Dean of Graduate Medical Education. She has responsibility for oversight of the day-to-day operations and accreditation for Graduate Medical Education's 45 programs, with over 500 residents and fellows.  
Before joining KUMC, Lori was chief operating officer for Austin Medical Education Programs in Austin, Texas.
Lori is co-chair of the Resident Education for Patient Safety and Quality Committee for GMEC at the University of Kansas.
Lori received a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Tulsa and an MBA degree from The Ohio State University.
