The KU School of Health Professions Student Recognition Ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Kansas City Music Hall in downtown Kansas City, Mo.
As a recognition ceremony, and not a graduation event, family and friends are close enough to see students, and this is an opportunity for individual acknowledgement of student accomplishments. There is no limit to the number of guests, and tickets are not required.
The University of Kansas Commencement will be the following day in Lawrence, Kansas. Students are encouraged to participate in both ceremonies.
Please review the ceremony guide and instructions and bookmark or print it for later reference, if necessary. Please note that there is NO DRESS REHEARSAL. These instructions serve as the rehearsal and contain details you should know ahead of time and share with your families and friends.
This year's event will be held in the Kansas City Music Hall at the Kansas City Convention Center, 301 W 13th Street, Kansas City, MO 64105.
Turn-by-turn driving directions are available at the Kansas City Convention Center's website.
