PTCAS Early Decision

KU participates in the PTCAS Early Decision program. This is a binding option for applicants who have selected a physical therapy degree program as their first choice and have committed to enroll in that program if accepted. Under the Early Decision guidelines, students may only apply to one academic institution until a decision on the application has been made.

The Early Decision application deadline is August 15. In addition to completing the PTCAS application, all official U.S. transcripts, fees, etc. must be submitted by this deadline. Note: Early Decision applicants MUST take the Graduate Record Examination and request scores no later than July 31. If application materials arrive after August 15, PTCAS will automatically change the application from early decision to "regular status."
