Lauryn Rametta, CRNA, MS, graduated Suma Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kan., in 2006. She then continued her nursing studies and earned a bachelor's degree in nursing in 2008 from St. Luke’s College of Health Sciences, Kansas City, Mo., where she was awarded the Academic Excellence Award for the highest GPA in her graduating class. In 2013, Rametta received her master's degree in nurse anesthesia from the University of Kansas. While at KU, she was awarded the George G. DeVane Award for Student Excellence.
Rametta is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, the Kansas Association of Nurse Anesthetists and Sigma Theta Tau International.
Rametta is currently a clinical assistant professor for the KU Department of Nurse Anesthesia Education. She previously worked in the surgical intensive care unit at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
