The program faculty possess advanced degrees in specializations that are directly associated with molecular biotechnologies and the application of those technologies, and include core and adjunct faculty.
The graduate-level molecular biotechnology program director is Eric Elsinghosrt, Ph.D., and the core instructors are KU faculty members who are primarily responsible for the subject content of the program core courses.

Affiliated through adjunct appointment in the Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences, the adjunct faculty are investigators who mentor students at practicum sites. The broad-based knowledge and skills of the program faculty are available to our students as they prepare to enter the biotechnology community.
