Reading, Language, and Learning Lab

The Reading, Language, and Learning Lab's mission is to conduct research related to reading and language development and disorders in children.

Research by the lab's team is particularly focused on identifying successful literacy assessments and interventions for children to ensure academic success.

Intercampus Program in Communicative Disorders


Bridges' research interests are in the areas of early identification of students at risk for reading disabilities and the development and efficacy testing of classroom reading intervention for preschool and elementary students.
