Peggy Waggoner, MA, CCC-SLP, is a clinical assistant professor in KU's speech-language pathology program where, among other responsibilities, she teaches a seminar in professional issues. She received her bachelor's degree from KU and her master's degree from Wichita State University in the early 1980s.
Prior to joining the KU Department of Hearing and Speech in 1987, Waggoner worked as a pediatric speech-language pathologist in Ontario, Canada, and later in Lawrence, Kan. In 1999 she became the first clinic director for Rockhurst University's new speech-language pathology master's degree program. She returned to KU Medical Center in 2005.
