About Kansas Medical Resource
Kansas Medical Resource (KMR) provides temporary medical coverage to physicians in rural communities for general surgery, psychiatry, radiation oncology, anesthesiology, obstetrics/gynecology, family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics and other health care specialties.
Become a Provider
To participate in the KMR program and provide medical coverage, health care providers must have a full license issued by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts, a DEA Certificate, and malpractice insurance. Each provider also must agree to a complete background check.
Request Service
To participate in the KMR program and receive medical coverage, clients must complete a Service Order Form.
Once this is complete, Rural Health Education and Services (RHES) requires a signed contract and fee.
